Come out to the Beaverton Curling Club pig roast and silent auction: May 30th, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at 164 Main Street. Everyone is welcome to join the Beaverton Club for a pig roast buffet meal and silent auction held on the rink floor of the Curling Club. Tickets are $30 a person. Cocktails are at 5 p.m., dinner is at 6 p.m., and an auction will follow.
Paint your pet and paint events, May 30th, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Elgin Park, Main Street, in Uxbridge. Join us for a guided paint event in the serenity of the country, enjoy, and take some inspiration from Minnie and Highland cows, as well as alpacas, pigs, and Farm dogs. This event includes an interactive event with the animals. Light refreshments will be provided, take home your creation after. This will be on Saturday, May 30th, cost is $70 per person.
The Cannington Lawn Bowling Club will host an Open House on May 30th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 34 Peace Street, Cannington. Come try lawn bowling! It's a low-impact sport for all ages, where points are awarded for rolling balls closest to the jack. Equipment will be provided, no experience needed, and refreshments and information about the upcoming season will be provided. Bring the whole family, it'll be fun.
