North Durham Nature ask you to join them as bat expert, Karen Vanderwolf from Trent University, teaches about the wonders of bats. She will be explaining how bats’ survival is threatened by White-nose Syndrome, a deadly fungal disease.

Karen will also explain how the Canadian Bat Box Program is working to conserve bats so our night skies will remain full of these fascinating flying mammals.
