Bats, with Karen Vanderwolf and North Durham Nature

UXBRIDGE: Bats are amazing! But these animals, so critical to our environment and economy, are declining in Canada and abroad. North Durham Nature ask you to join them as bat expert, Karen Vanderwolf from Trent University, teaches about the wonders of bats. She will be explaining how bats’ survival is threatened by White-nose Syndrome, a deadly fungal disease.

Karen will also explain how the Canadian Bat Box Program is working to conserve bats so our night skies will remain full of these fascinating flying mammals.

North Durham Nature will be hosting this webinar on Tuesday, May 25th, at 7 p.m. To register for this webinar email northdurhamnature@gmail.com. To learn more about North Durham Nature check out their website at www.northdurhamnature.com.
