A devilishly good debut for Port Perry fastball

In just their first year of operation, the Port Perry Devils have been turning heads on the provincial fastball circuit, with the Under-16 team recently winning bronze medals at the provincial championships and an upcoming trip to the Eastern Canadian Championships.

The first-year team recently wrapped up their trip to the Eastern Canadian Championships, after a strong showing at a qualifier tournament. The team will be competing against the top clubs from Ontario, Quebec at the Maritimes at the tournament in Carbonear, Newfoundland in August.

This past weekend, the team had to make more room in their ever-expanding trophy case after a bronze medal showing at the Provincial ‘A’ Fastball Championships in Palmerston.

As the organization’s first season winds to a close, the Devils are looking to expand for next summer. The Devils are expected to field teams in the Under-10, Under-12, Under-14, Under-16 and Under-19 divisions. The Devils are looking for coaches for U10, U12 and U19.
