A Christmas Celebration with the Durham Chamber Orchestra

SCUGOG: The Durham Chamber Orchestra (DCO) presents 'A Christmas Celebration,' a festive concert, featuring selections from Handel’s Messiah, Respighi’s Ancient Airs and Dances: Suite II, and favourite seasonal songs, performed with New Song Community Choir, led by Jonathan Liebich.

Performances take place on Sunday, November 30th, at 2 p.m., at Port Perry United Church, and again on Sunday, December 7th, at 2 p.m., at Forest Brook Community Church, in Ajax.

Now, in its third decade, the DCO is the only full community orchestra, in Durham Region, with strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion. Musicians come from across the region, including students, teachers, professionals, and retirees, all sharing a passion for bringing music to local audiences.

Tickets are available online, at www.durhamchamberorchestra.com.Early Bird tickets are $25, until November 15th, youth under 17 get in free. Adult tickets, after November 15th, are $30 each.
