83-year-old Scugog man killed in a single-vehicle collision

SCUGOG: An 83-year-old man from Scugog Township died from a single-vehicle collision on Sunday, August 20th.

According to Durham police, at about 11:55 a.m., “members of North Division responded to a report of a collision involving a single motor vehicle pulling an open trailer that went into a ditch on Marsh Hill Road, north of Scugog Line 9.”

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released the name of the victim. Police kept a portion of the roadways closed for several hours while they investigated the scene.
