25th Annual Port Perry Winter Antique & Nostalgia Show

MARILYN PEARCE, Show Convenor, Lake Scugog Historical Society

SCUGOG: On February 4th and 5th, 2023, the Port Perry Winter Antique and Nostalgia Show will celebrate its 25th Anniversary. It has been two years and many postponements since our last Winter Show and the Lake Scugog Historical Society is pleased to announce the 25th annual fundraiser will proceed. This show is always a welcome event and surely helps cope with the cabin fever we all feel by this time of year.

As we have for many years, the Show will welcome over 25 quality dealers from across Ontario. This year will see some new vendors added to the show, as well as many of your usual favourites but we guarantee the show will continue to offer quality antiques and nostalgic items for all ages, all collectors and all budgets.

Year after year, this show has featured an eclectic mix of antiques, nostalgic treasures & vintage items. This year’s show will include: Canadiana, primitives, jewelry, advertising signs & tins, MCM furniture, postcards & paper, books, toys, china, glass, bottles and works of art. Walking through the doors of the annual Port Perry Antique & Nostalgia Show you soon realize how popular this event has become for young and old.

An added feature to the 2023 show will be our Historical Exhibit of Caesarea, Scugog’s cottage community. This exhibit was first presented last summer, at the Beacon Marina, but LSHS has had many requests to bring it back so those who missed it in the summer can still view it. Historic maps of the area, storyboards and photos will be on display and local historians will help answer any questions you may have. Local author Paul Arculus will also have his numerous books available for sale and will be available for signing and sharing stories.

The Show is open February 4th and 5th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 and good for both days. The site is fully accessible and light snacks are available.

All proceeds from this event will support the projects of the Lake Scugog Historical Society.
