Uxbridge Public Library is extending their curbside hours

UXBRIDGE: Starting August 25th, the Uxbridge Public Library will be open for curbside pickup on Tuesdays, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will be no public access to the library until further notice. Upon arrival at the library, they ask all patrons to bring their library card and wear a mask when coming to pick up their books. The service of Tuesday curbside pickup will only be available, at the library’s Uxbridge location, to all the public library’s cardholders. Pickup will also include items ordered from other branches. All items must be placed on hold, preferably through the Uxbridge Public Library’s website. The library staff are asking people to wait for a confirmation email stating that their order is ready for pickup. Items being dropped off are only to be placed in the drop box and will not be excepted via curbside pickup table. Curbside pickup will be at the lower level entrance of the library. For patrons who do not have access to a computer or internet, you can call 905-852-9747 extension 2 and leave a message. Please include your name, library card number and up to three items you have placed on hold. Patrons who place their order this way are asked to please wait until they receive a phone call confirming their items are ready, before coming to pick them up. The library staff have updated the library’s Facebook page and have said they are working on the next stages of reopening. Currently, their next reopening step will begin on September 22nd.
