KAWARTHA LAKES: Looking for a way to celebrate the arrival of Spring? Join the Kawartha Lakes Singers as they present familiar songs from Broadway, Gordon Lightfoot and movies.
Kawartha Lakes Singers, under the direction of Arlene Gray, will be joined by the guest band: Graeme Morrison, Ian Morrison, Jeff Lawrence, Dave Tomlinson, along with UnBELLievable.
Songs, from Star Wars, Rent, The Lion King, My Fair Lady, Godspell, West Side Story, Barbie and more, will be sung. Some beautiful choir arrangements of Gordon Lightfoot classics and oldies, such as Moon River, Hooray for Hollywood, etc., will also be on the agenda.
This event takes place on Sunday, March 24th, starting at 2:30 p.m., at the Cambridge Street United Church in Lindsay. Tickets cost $25 for adults, $10 for children 12 and under. Tickets are available from choir members, online, at klsingers.ca, or at the door.
