EPSOM & UTICA by Faye Ashton

It’s hard to enjoy this cold, damp, and wet weather we have been given lately (typical November), but when we stand and honour our veterans on November 11th, and think of the challenges they endured through all kinds of conditions for our freedom and the courage and strength of will to give us a better world, no amount of thanks seems adequate. An awesome night of country music, mc’d by Robyn Ottillini, at Uxbridge Music Hall on Saturday evening, showcased Leah, Mackenzie, Jess and Tay, Shannon and Robyn with their guitars and guitarists. These young ladies are certainly well qualified to be in the Country Music industry. The first Wednesday evening of Light up the Hillman Cemetery was a success, with the last Wednesday of November to look forward to. The Handbag Mission is still ongoing until the middle of November. Leave your handbag at the church on a Wednesday evening, or pass it on to Donna Eckhardt. A Christmas Community Pot Luck has been arranged for Sunday, December 8th, at Utica Hall, at 6:30 p.m. Church at Epsom this week is at 10 a.m. Alex will bring the message.
