COVID-19 cases continue to be reported

DURHAM/KAWARTHA: While all local municipalities have recently returned to the province of Ontario’s response framework, COVID-19 cases continue to be reported.
As of press time, according to the Durham Regional Health Department, Scugog has six active cases, including four people in home isolation and two people in hospital. Scugog has seen 174 resolved cases and 15 COVID-19 related deaths. Thirteen of the deaths came from Port Perry Place Long Term Care Home.
Uxbridge has one active case, listed in home isolation. Uxbridge has had 217 resolved cases and 24 deaths. Brock Township is also reporting one active case in home isolation and 54 resolved cases.
Meanwhile, the Haliburton, Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit reports Kawartha Lakes has 20 unresolved cases, 468 resolved cases and 53 deaths.
