Brock Township fills clerk position vacancy

BROCK: The Township of Brock has hired a new municipal clerk.

On Wednesday, June 16th, the Township announced they had hired Fernando Lamanna to serve as the township’s clerk and deputy CAO.

“Mr. Lamanna is coming to the Township of Brock from the Town of East Gwillimbury, where he worked in the positions of Clerk and Deputy Clerk from 2010 until 2021. [Prior] to joining the Town of East Gwillimbury, Mr. Lamanna worked for the Town of Georgina, in a number of roles, from 2003 until 2010,” read a Brock Township press release.

Mr. Lamanna is expected to start working for the township on Monday, July 12th. Brock Township has been without a full-time clerk since Becky Jamieson left to join the Township of Scugog in late March.
