Happy New Year and best wishes to all Blackstock residents for a great year! Euchre results for Tuesday, December 17th: Len Van Schagen came in first and had the most lone hands. Minnie Aysling and Jocelyn Bradbury tied for combined second and third place, Alma Manns finished in 4th place, Pat Currie was fifth, Norm Lackner, George Koppens and Lorna Edgerton tied for the mid score. Harvey Graham and Alma Manns had 23 points in one game. Euchre results for Tuesday, December 31st: Chris McArdle came in first, Jim Tucker was second, Pat Currie and Lorna Edgerton tied for a combined 3rd and 4th place, Kay Marshall and Marion Koppens tied for fifth, and Chris McArdle, Jim Tucker, Elmo Gibson, Lorna Edgerton and Marion Koppens tied for the most lone hands. Alma Manns had the mid score. Blackstock Euchre is held every Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. (except holidays) in the Blackstock United Church Hall. Everyone is welcome.
