Beaver River Bridge in, Beaverton closed for repairs

BROCK: The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents the Beaver River Bridge in Beaverton will be temporarily closed to traffic for repairs, starting Monday, November 9th for approximately two to three months. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

The Beaver River Bridge, connects Simcoe Street (Regional Road 15) over the Beaver River, located in the community of Beaverton, in the Township of Brock. A map of the area is posted on durham.ca/BeaverRiverBridge.

The work is being done to safely complete necessary repairs on the bridge. Detour route signs will be posted.

This notice is an update to ongoing work on the Beaver River Bridge. The Region realizes the construction work will be disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians are reminded to exercise additional caution.
