LITTLE BRITAIN: The struggles continued for Little Britain over the weekend, as the Merchants’ recent losing streak stretched to seven games, dropping a pair of 6-2 decisions against the Clarington Eagles and North Kawartha Knights. Jordan Sharpe and Blake Abbott scored for the Merchants, against the Eagles at home on Saturday night. A pair of goals from Mac West accounted for all of the Merchants’ offence, on Sunday afternoon in Hastings against the Knights.
A busy weekend for the MoJacks will see the team trek to Keswick, on Friday night for a 7:30 p.m. rematch against the Ice. On Saturday night, the MoJacks will be back on the road, taking on the Merchants in Little Britain at 7:30 p.m. Finally, on Sunday afternoon, the MoJacks return home to Scugog Arena, for a 2:25 p.m. matinee match-up against the Merchants.
The Bruins will also be busy this weekend, starting things off with a trip to Bowmanville on Thursday night, to square off against the Clarington Eagles at 7:20 p.m. On Friday night, the Bruins are back at the Bear Den to battle with North Kawartha at 7:45 p.m.
Uxbridge’s weekend wraps up on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. in Sutton, where they’ll look to melt the Ice.
