With December, many programs celebrating the Christmas season are happening.
Greenbank Blacklight puppeteers have presented two great performances on the evenings of: Friday, December1st and Sunday, December 3rd. Next Friday, December 8th at 7 p.m., they will give their third performance.
The Greenbank Sunday School children will be giving their concert first, and are always a delight to see.
On Sunday, December 17th, at 7:30 p.m., Advent III Christmas Cantata “Magnificat”, with choir and orchestra, as well as sing along carols will be at Greenbank church. This is a time to celebrate the Joy of God's Gift to all. All are welcome!
Greeters for the first Sunday of Advent were Ron and Joanne Doble. Graham and Holly Smith lit the Advent I candle, and read the litany. Faith and Canyon M. and Kaine R. assisted the elders in serving communion.
Anyone wishing to place a poinsettia in the sanctuary, in memory of a loved one, please let Valerie Hunter know the names you would like printed in the bulletin, by December 10th.
Thank you to Debra Grose of Markham Christmas Craft Show, for donating the poinsettias in the sanctuary.
Scugog Food Bank items are being collected during December. A box for non-perishable items is in the vestibule.
If you would like to share in the weekly E-blast church communication, or be added to the list, please forward your information to Juli, at email@example.com, or call 905-985-2006.
