Caesarea Nestleton Euchre
The Caesarea-Nestleton Euchre Club sends their condolences to the family of Harold Crawford, who passed away on Friday January 19th. Harold was a long time member of our club and he will be missed.
Here are Thursday evening's results: Anne Mastin came in first. Doug Day was second. Norm Lackner finished in third place and he also had the most lone hands with six. Roy Bradburn was fourth and Bill Churchill finished in fifth place. Gary Davidson had the low score.
Congratulations to all of our winners and we look forward to seeing you on Thursday evening.
Caesarea-Nestleton Euchre is held every Thursday (except holidays) at 7:30 p.m. in the Nestleton Community Hall. Everyone is welcome.
Blackstock & District Lions Club
This is a busy time of year for Lions Clubs and their members. At the district level, several leadership workshops are being organized for members who are thinking of going on beyond the club level, to serve in the district. At the club level, service projects are underway to better serve the community. And it will soon be time for our nominating committee to present a slate of officers for next Lions year.
You can look forward to reading about our Lions Junior Effective Speaking Contest coming soon to Cartwright Central Public School and remember our March Madness event on March 24th. Tickets are available from any of our members.
