Blackstock & District Lions Club: We were pleased to welcome District Governor Jean-Claude Lagrange and Lion Elena Mihu to a recent meeting of our Lions Club. During their visit, Lions members inducted were Sharon Baker, Jennifer Bankay, and Tom Derlis. Welcome to our Lions family; it is wonderful to have more hands to provide service to our community. In the next month we shall be preparing to host our annual Lions “Junior English Effective Speaking Contest”, involving students from the Cartwright Central Public School in Blackstock. Thank-you to Ms. Moase for organizing the school program, and to Mrs. Young for your support and encouragement. More details will be made available soon.
