Virtual Farmer’s Market

COLLEEN GREEN The Standard

Kendal Hills Farm, a member of Durham Farm Fresh, is working on setting up a Virtual Farmers Market. According to their website, it is open every week from Thursday at noon to Sunday at midnight. Each week, they are adding new vendors and updating the food that is available from the growing number of small farms and businesses that are a part of this. “We ask for your patience as we build this, together.” reads a statement on their website. According to a tweet by Durham Ag & Rural, Kendal Hills Farm is offering online ordering and curbside delivery in the greater Toronto area of; preserves, meats, coffee, soups and more. People can order online by going to their website at https://kendalhillsfarm.ca For more information on this creative initiative, contact themarket@kendalhillsfarm.ca with questions and offers to support. Kudos to Kendal Hill Farms for thinking outside the box. We look forward to seeing more about the Virtual Farmers Market.
