SCUGOG: Rosario Greco Styles, in Port Perry, is celebrating their ten-year anniversary in business, this month, with an event.

The event will be held on Saturday, September 23rd, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.,in their business location, at 21 Wilbur Avenue.

“We’re going to have Terry Vos [provide] some food for us. We’re going to have some refreshments, live entertainment, and we’re also doing, as part of a charity event for the Oak Ridges Hospice, a raffle, for five or six baskets we have here. The baskets are worth anywhere from $1,000 to $1,500.” Rosario Greco told The Standard.

He also explained why they decided to support the hospice at this event. “I feel they’ve done some real good here for the town,” he said. “It’s a good cause, and we believe in it.”

Mr. Greco shared, he never expected the business to reach the ten-year milestone when it first opened. “I had a five-year plan when we opened up, and the five years went by quickly. We had a fantastic five years. Unfortunately [COVID-19] beat us up quite a bit, but we hung in there. When we hit the five-year mark, I said, ‘Let’s do another five years.’ We’re there now and still loving it. We’ve got a great staff, and the people of Port Perry have supported us really well. I’m here for another five years: well, hopefully for another 50 years.”

He stated, this event is a way of thanking the people who have supported the business over the years.

“We just want to give back to the clients who have supported us.”
