SCUGOG: Durham police (DRPS) have arrested a 21-year-old man after an alleged sexual assault in Scugog late last month. “On the evening of Tuesday, August 25th, 2020, the suspect contacted the 14-year-old female victim, who was not known to him, through the Snapchat app. On two previous occasions, the suspect used the location setting on the App to locate her and attempted to persuade her to go with him. The suspect eventually met up with the victim in Scugog. The suspect who was operating a blue Subaru drove the victim to a remote parking lot in Nestleton, where she was sexually assaulted. The victim didn’t suffer any physical injuries and police were contacted,” read a DRPS press release. Hunter Ollivierre of Pefferlaw has been charged with sexual assault; sexual interference; invitation to sexual touching and luring a child. Police are seeking witnesses who might have seen the vehicle during the time this incident took place.
