UXBRIDGE: The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of lane restrictions on Brock Street East and a road closure on Nelkydd Lane in the Township of Uxbridge, from May 4th to 29th. Unfavourable weather may influence the work schedule. Lane restrictions will take place on Brock Street East between 4th Avenue and Nelkydd Lane. Nelkydd Lane will be closed between Planks Lane and Brock Street East, in Uxbridge. The work is being done to install a watermain, sanitary and storm sewer. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews. Please also be advised, in response to COVID-19, the Province of Ontario has identified the maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure, including roads, as an essential service, according to the latest update of essential workplaces from April 3rd.
