For 48 hours only, we are streaming Mary’s Wedding, by Stephen Massicotte. February is the month for love and great love stories, even in lockdown! And we’re making one of our favourite past productions available for this year’s pandemic Valentine’s Day.
The archival recording of our popular 2017 production of Mary’s Wedding, featuring Manon Ens-Lapointe and Duncan Gibson-Lockhart, will be streamed by private access on our Youtube channel, on Saturday, February 13th and Sunday, February 14th. Through vivid and poetic language, this Canadian play tells the poignant story of Mary and Charlie, who discover a charming first love, filled with innocence and humour in 1914, as the world collapses into a brutal war.
Viewers can receive access to this archival video for only $15. Proceeds from this event will support Theatre on the Ridge returning to the live stage in 2021.
