SUNDERLAND: A quick response from local firefighters extinguished a small fire on the roof at Brelmar Veterinary Clinic in Sunderland. According to Brock Township Fire Chief Rick Harrison, the call was received around 9:15 p.m., on Wednesday, March 11th. The small blaze was attended by more than a dozen responding firefighters from the Sunderland hall, and approximately 90 minutes later, they had cleared the scene. “The firefighters did excellent work to quickly extinguish the fire,” added Chief Harrison, noting that there were no injuries and minimal damage to the Highway 12 business.
