FAYE ASHTON Special to The Standard

We welcome the busy and sometimes stressful month of December. As we move toward Christmas, well, isn’t that what is on everyone’s mind when December rolls around?

Hopefully, all of us remember the real meaning of the Christmas month. We wish better health to our community friends who are dealing with health issues. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers for good health to return. Best Wishes to all birthdays, anniversaries and all celebrations happening this month. Don’t pass up the opportunity to congratulate, in person or a phone call.

Another movie afternoon is scheduled for Thursday, December 14th, at 1:30 p.m. at Epsom United Church. Come and enjoy time together over coffee, treats and a movie at Epsom United Church. The first Sunday of Advent was celebrated as Feliks and sister Stella, with adult help, lit the Hope Candle. As the second Sunday of Advent approaches, we hope for more peace and peace and love in this war-torn world. Church at 10:30 a.m., with Rev.Edith Ann as minister and fellowship following.
