EPSOM & UTICA by Faye Ashton

Spring-like weather has arrived this week. The snowdrops started to bloom just as the temperature dipped to -10 over a week ago, and the crocus are brightening up the garden alongside the snowdrops. Most of the snow has melted except for the high piles put there to make room for driveways. The sun, with its warmth, has reappeared lately after a very sunless winter. All is well.

Darlene visited Nancy Skelding at her new home, Black Lock Cottage Golden Plough Lodge, in Cobourg, Ontario, recently. We know she would appreciate a card or note from her friends in this area. You can mail them to Black Lock Cottage Golden Plough Lodge, 983 Burnham Street, Cobourg, Ontario.

Thank you for all the support at the Canadian Foodgrains Bank Project breakfast. The time spent together over breakfast was very enjoyable too.

As we enter the Easter Season, Epsom United Church welcomes you to its service on April 16th at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Edith Ann as minister.
