EPSOM & UTICA by Faye Ashton

We are so privileged to be able to join in with Palm services from neighbouring communities. Thank you for sharing the gospel to all. As we head into the Easter weekend we will travel from sadness to complete and overwhelming joy. May your Easter during this pandemic still bring love and thankfulness for all we have been given. Happy Easter.

The family of Georgina Sutcliffe are thankful that Georgina has a new home at Lakeview Manor in Beaverton. Georgina was a busy person in the village of Utica but as her health declined she needed more care. We are wishing you a special time, at Lakeview, Georgina.

We send condolences to Annie Bolton on the recent passing of her brother Mac Meyers of Zephyr. Durham Farm Connections are doing a series on farming and the many parts that make up the whole agricultural business.

Last Thursday Rob Ashton visited the sugar bush and shack and explained in depth the work involved in making maple syrup. The previous Thursday the Swain Family shared the workings of their beef farm, to raise and grow beef cattle. The next one will be on April 8th and will feature an egg farmer. You can see all these businesses by going to durhamfarmconnections on Facebook. The two that have already happened can be viewed there.

Please stay safe and well and hopefully many of you will have received your covid vaccine soon. Send news items to Faye.eaglesnest@gmail.com.
