Durham Region COVID-19 case update

DURHAM: On Monday, June 22nd, the Region of Durham’s health department reported four new COVID-19 cases in Durham Region. The Region, as a whole, has 1,671 confirmed cases of COVID-19. 53 people are currently in isolation. 8 people are currently in a hospital due to the virus. 180 Durham Region residents have died, and 1,430 cases have resolved. Uxbridge continues to have the highest number of cases in North Durham, at 101. 21 Uxbridge residents have died. Two people are currently in isolation. 78 cases have resolved. Reachview Village long term care home is one of two long term care facilities in Durham remaining in a state of outbreak. Scugog has seen a total of 18 confirmed cases of COVID-19. 17 of the cases have resolved, with only one resident currently listed in isolation. Brock Township has had 10 cases of COVID-19. Similar to Scugog, there is only one Brock resident listed in isolation, while the other 9 cases have resolved.
