COVID-19 cases remain in similar position as previous week

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA LAKES: COVID-19 case numbers in North Durham and Kawartha Lakes remain similar to the previous week’s update.

According to the Durham Region Health Department, Scugog has 38 active cases as of press time. To date, Scugog has had 18 deaths and 862 resolved cases.

Uxbridge has 29 active cases. Since the pandemic’s start, Uxbridge has had 27 deaths and 999 resolved cases.

Brock Township has 31 active cases. To date, Brock has had four deaths and 491 resolved cases.

Meanwhile, according to the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit, Kawartha Lakes has 146 unresolved/active cases, 3,028 resolved cases and 68 deaths.
