If you are looking for some colourful, easy-to-care-for perennials to add to your gardens this spring, the Blackstock Nestleton United Church is offering a perennial plant fundraiser on Saturday, May 22nd, from 10 a.m. through to 2 p.m.
To follow Covid-19 protocols and allow for safe social distancing, plants will be offered for sale rain or shine at three separate locations, including 3170 Bradburn Road, 14480 Old Scugog Road, and 12501 Regional Road 57. Prices will range from $5 to $15. Cash only, please. If you have any perennials you would like to donate to the sale; please contact Janet Van Camp (905)986-0097 before the sale date.
The Pine Ridge Garden Club is holding a virtual plant sale. This is the only fundraiser they will be holding this year due to the pandemic. Online orders will be accepted beginning on Thursday, May 25th at https://pineridgegardenclub.com.
A list of all plants and vegetables, including instructions on placing an order, will be available on their website at that time. Contactless pick-up will take place Saturday, May 29th.
