Sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the sudden passing of James Davies on September 2nd. James grew up in Blackstock, attending both Cartwright Central Public School and Cartwright High School.
Belated Birthday wishes to two beloved women in the Blackstock community: Jessie Gunter who celebrated turning 95 years old, and Jean Williams who celebrated turning 90 years old.
The Blackstock Co-op Nursery School (BCNS) is saddened to announce, its Annual Breakfast with Santa & Friends for 2021, is cancelled due to the ongoing Covid pandemic and current restrictions.
As such, the nursery school will once again be relying heavily on several smaller planned fundraising efforts. For the third year in a row, BCNS kicks off with its successful Mom’s Pantry school fundraiser.
Mom’s Pantry has an extensive selection of pastry items, cookie dough, muffin mixes and other baking products as well as appetizers, soup, pizza, protein mixes, tea and seasoning spices. There are dozens of items that would also make great holiday gifts if you’re looking to support not only BCNS, but a Canadian company. You can place your order with any of the school’s parents or directly online at https://www.momspantry.ca. Once you are ready to checkout, you will be prompted to select Fundraising Order or Personal Order. Select Fundraising Order and use BCNS’ order number: 339714, and Group Passcode: 24899. All purchases will automatically contribute 40 percent of proceeds to the non-profit school. Delivery will be scheduled prior to the beginning of December so your order will arrive well in advance of the holidays. BCNS families and those who placed direct orders using the BCNS fundraiser codes will be notified of the drop date via email.
