September is Bike Month in Durham Region

The Region of Durham invites you to celebrate Bike Month this September. Bike Month is an opportunity to get out on your bicycle, replace car trips with bike trips, learn new skills and have some fun; bringing together families, employers, commuters and community organizations at hundreds of events across the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area (GTHA). While Bike Month may be a little different this year, there are still lots of opportunities to get active, be healthy and ride your bike. Below is a list of Bike Month activities taking place across the region, from September 1st to 30th, 2020. Durham Region challenges you to ride your bike this September. Take a photo or video of you and your bike at as many locations as you can, and submit them via social media using the hashtag #BikeMonth and tagging @RegionOfDurham on Facebook or Twitter. You can also submit your photos or videos to activetransportation@durhamregion.ca. Each submission counts as an entry into a prize draw! The more places you visit, the more chances you have to win!
