Russell Street West business damaged during attempted break and enter

KAWARTHA LAKES: The City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service is investigating an attempted break and enter that occurred at a business on Russell Street West in Lindsay on Tuesday, December 17th. According to police, at approximately 7:05 a.m. on December 17th, a witness observed a man use a brick to break the glass door to the business. The man made several attempts to smash the glass, at which point the witness yelled at the man. This startled the man, and he fled the area without entering the building. Police describe the man as being six feet tall, wearing all dark clothing, with a dark pointed hood pulled up over his head. The City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service, is actively investigating this mischief to property and, is asking that anyone with information about the incident contact an investigator at 705-324-5252.
