One man killed in single vehicle collsion in Brock Township

BROCK: A 62-year-old Beaverton man has died, after his vehicle left a Brock Township roadway and drove into a ditch.

According to Durham Regional Police (DRPS), on Friday, June 2nd, at around 5:46 p.m., “officers from North Division were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision, on Lakeridge Road near Beach Road, in Brock Township.”

“A black 2003 Ford F150 pickup was reportedly driven off the roadway and into a ditch. The lone occupant and driver, a 62-year-old male, was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased,” a DRPS press release added.

Durham police have not released the identity of the victim.

Police kept a portion of the roadway closed for several hours, as they conducted their investigation. Anyone who has more information on this investigation is being asked to contact Detective/Constable Rayne of the Collision Investigation Unit, at 905-579-1520 extension 5256.
