SCUGOG: The long-awaited new Palmer Park playground equipment has been completed. Construction finished on January 20th and a grand opening will be held at the park, in the spring of 2023.
According to a press release by the Township of Scugog, there is no winter maintenance on playgrounds. So, they are reminding residents to proceed with caution while playing on the equipment.
Funding for the playground was provided by the Government of Canada through the Canada Community Revitalization Fund.
The new playground includes a rubber play surface, a zipline, six swings and much more.
