Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor,

Given the volatility in oil prices due to geopolitical matters, federal carbon tax increases on gasoline and diesel planned for April 2022 should be cancelled. Not everyone can afford an electric vehicle; many are driving ten-year-old clunkers.

Not everyone has the privilege of free RCMP limousine rides to work.

Now is not a good time for such tax increases.
