Lake Month and Lake Discovery Day in Scugog

SCUGOG: August has been officially proclaimed LAKE MONTH by the Township of Scugog, and the Scugog Lake Stewards will be celebrating Lake Scugog with a range of activities throughout that month. We are especially pleased to present LAKE DISCOVERY DAY, August 19th, from 10 am to 4 pm out of the Latcham Centre, in Port Perry at 121 Queen Street. Everyone is welcome.

Over the years, the Stewards and their many partners and associates have been studying Lake Scugog, and they would like to share the great depth of information they have gained. On LAKE DISCOVERY DAY, they will give visitors of all ages a chance to enjoy hands-on demonstrations of that work. There will be so much to see, touch and even smell, with many experts there to answer your questions.

For those interested in science or the environment, if they are Lake Scugog shoreline property owners, or just curious, this is a day which should not be missed.
