SCUGOG: Four people have been charged by Durham police (DRPS) after a large quantity of drugs was found in Prince Albert.
“In early 2021, the North Division Community Resource Unit, with the assistance of the Drug Enforcement Unit, began an investigation into the possible sale of cocaine from a residence in Prince Albert. On Friday, March 26th, 2021, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Jeffery Street. A quantity of drugs, including: cocaine, crystal meth, heroine and percocet, cash and other property was seized. The total street value of the drugs seized is approximately $20,000,” read a DRPS press release.
29 year-old Aaron Powers, 39 year-old Katie Barrette, 18 year-old Jordan Barrette and 22 year-old Brooke Barrette are all facing three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of a controlled substance.
