Case numbers seeing a positive decrease

NORTH DURHAM/KAWARTHA: Local communities are seeing some promising COVID-19 case numbers.

As of press time, according to the Durham Regional Health Department, Scugog has two active cases, including one person in home isolation and one person in a hospital. To date, Scugog has had 16 deaths and 179 resolved cases.

Brock Township currently has no active cases, with all 55 of their cases to date listed as resolved.

Uxbridge has four active cases, all listed in home isolation. Since the start of the pandemic, Uxbridge has had 24 deaths and 217 resolved cases.

Meanwhile, the Haliburton, Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit reports Kawartha Lakes has 11 unresolved cases, 483 resolved cases and 55 deaths.
