Hope everyone got dug out from our first big snow fall. Big shout-out to the Pontypool Volunteer Fire Department for not disappointing the children this year and still running the Annual Santa Run Food and Toy Drive on December 13th this year. It will be different from others years. Children will not be able to sit on Santa’s knee but come and shout out “Hi!” to the big guy in red. Leave your food and toys in a bag at the end of your drive and Santa’s helpers will pick them up. Also because kids can’t tell Santa what they want, the fire department has a special Santa mail box at the fire hall. So the kids can write to Santa and drop the letter off at the hall.
