One Port Perry class in isolation, active cases low in North Durham

DURHAM/KAWARTHA LAKES: Two of the three North Durham municipalities currently have zero active cases of COVID-19, however one North Durham school has declared they have one case of the virus. According to the Durham District School Board’s case tracker, R.H. Cornish Public School in Port Perry has one case of COVID-19, with one class in self-isolation. As of press time, the Durham Region Health Department is reporting one active case of COVID-19 in isolation in Brock Township. Brock also has 16 resolved cases. Meanwhile, the Township of Scugog has zero cases in isolation, and 26 resolved cases. Uxbridge township also has zero active cases in isolation. Uxbridge has had a total of 114 cases, with 93 resolved cases and 21 deaths. The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit has reported 184 total cases of COVID-19 in Kawartha Lakes, with one case listed as not resolved, 32 deaths and 164 resolved cases.
