The Wolves opened their week with a 3-0 home-ice shutout of the North Central Predators at Scugog Arena, on Tuesday, October 17th.
Kyle Burnett turned aside several sensational scoring chances by the Predators to earn the shutout, while goals came from Tucker Firth, Sabastian Geraci and Patrick Goan.
On Sunday, October 22nd, the team traveled to Desoronto, winning by a final margin of 4-1, over the Quinte Red Devils.
Alex Bourre, Jacob Traynor and Ben Addision scored for Central Ontario, with Odin McGee picking up the win in goal.
With an overall record of 17-0-2, and an ETA mark of 7-0-1, the Wolves find themselves three points clear of the Kingston Junior Frontenacs, for top spot in the ETA East Division table, as well as a first overall position in the OMHA rankings.
This week, Central Ontario hosted the Red Devils, in a Tuesday night rematch at Scugog Arena, before hitting the road for a Sunday night tilt against the Ajax-Pickering Raiders. The Wolves return to home ice, at Scugog Arena in Port Perry, on Saturday, November 4th, to tangle with the Barrie Junior Colts at 5:15 p.m.
