We are finally getting some sunshine and warmer weather. The farmers are able to get out on the land, and people are buying and planting flowers to make their homes beautiful. This is the time for planting your garden.
The Park Committee would like to thank the Greenbank Lions for their continued support. Once again they have donated the proceeds from their spring fertilizer sales, in the Seagrave area, to our Park. Please continue to support them, and all the wonderful projects they do for our community. Thank-you Greenbank Lions.
We are busy planning our 'Art Day' on July 6th, and we need artists and crafts people who would like to display and sell their work. The cost is $20, and the funds will go towards our park improvement. Please email email@example.com for more information or to register ,You may also email us at anytime with suggestions and comments, or to register as a volunteer for events and/or upcoming projects. We value community input and can accomplish so much more with some help.
Happy Birthday wishes go out to Ashleigh Finn whose birthday was on May 19th.
The greeters in church last Sunday were Howard and Teri Murphy-Payne. The Christ candle was lit by our guest speaker, Doug Ferris, of Greenbank. Doug’s message was about love. Jesus said we are to love one another, but He understands that we do not have to agree with one another. Doug explained that God is like a mother: surrounding and nourishing us with love. Later, Doug played the guitar and sang “Your Love Makes Me Sing”. The congregation prayed for Juli Conard Myers, asking God to guide her and walk with her through the storm in her life right now. We prayed for her good health to return, and for God to bring her a spirit of calmness and central peace.
