On Saturday, September 30th, the 18th Annual Greenbank Soap Box Derby takes place, rain or shine, on Pearl Drive, west subdivision, with the sign in beginning at 8:30 a.m., racing to follow. At approximately 12:30 noon there will be an official reopening of Couves Park celebrating improvements made, and new playground items, for both Greenbank Parks. Come and enjoy the ongoing BBQ, beverages etc., as you cheer the racers on. This event supports the Greenbank Parks, and is made possible by great volunteers, participants, sponsors, and spectators, as children enjoy a day of good old fashioned fun.
Congratulations to team Phillips (Captain Jason) on winning by one run to coveted 2017 T-shirts in the championship 3 Pitch game vs. Team Dusty (Captain Doug).
