With early darkness these nights, the beautiful Christmas lights that glow so brightly are a delight to see.
The Pinedale Community Carol Sing on the Sunday evening of the 26th, was most enjoyable, with a musical presentation by Pinedale Mini-Farmers (ages 3 to 7), the Pinedale Choir, memoirs, scriptures, prayer, a reading, and the congregation Carol singing. Candles lit the church for “Silent Night” as the festive program concluded. Refreshments, goody bags, and a time of fellowship followed. Offering donations support the church and Pinedale cemetery.
Greenbank youth are performing three concerts of Blacklight Puppetry at the church: December 1st, at 7 p.m.; December 3rd, at 6:30 p.m.; December 8th, at 7 p.m., which will also have the Sunday School children perform their Christmas Concert. Good will donations for all the above. Come and enjoy.
December 3rd is First Sunday of Advent and Communion at 11 a.m. service, coffee and muffins will be served 10 a.m., prior to service. Food Bank donations are being collected through December. The box is in the narthex.

Christmas Pot-lick luncheon is at Greenbank Church. All are welcome. Members please bring items for Operation Scugog Food Bank and A Place Called Home.

Sunday, December 17th at 7:30 p.m., Advent III Christmas Cantata is at Greenbank church: “Magnificat” by Stu Beaudoin, with choir and orchestra, as well as sing-along carols. Come celebrate the joy of God's Gift to all. All are welcome.

The school thanks all who supported the poinsettia fundraiser, which was a huge success. Deliveries on Wednesday for your pickup.

The school is having a Christmas Store, December 20th, in the gym, where students may purchase items for $2. Any donations of small items e.g. mugs, serviettes, vases, etc., would be appreciated, and may be dropped off at the school.
