The flowers at church on Sunday (28th) were some of the bouquets of yellow flowers which adorned the sanctuary at the service on Saturday, May 27th, which was a celebration of the life of Dat Hooker by many, many folk whose lives she touched in so many ways. Yellow, her favourite colour, birding, crafting, volunteering, friends, family, and finally an end to 13 years of battling cancer. A special person is remembered in the hearts of all who knew Dot.
Kelly Monkman and Joanne Olivero greeted all at Sunday's service. Rev. Parker talked to the children about “Who do you trust?” and the adults' message on “trust and obey”. The choir's music ministry “Gloria in Excelsis” was lovely.
