On Sunday Tom and Valerie Hunter greeted all, and young Rachel Martens and Valerie lit the Christ candle. Pianist for the service was Hillary Balmer as Stuart and Tiina Beaudoin were celebrating her son's wedding. Stephanie brought her buddy “Bingo”, her puppet dog, who told the children's story about his love of catching balls and a ball game where he got away from his loving owner. He was helped by a Blue Jay player getting him off the field, and he told of the joy of getting back to his loving owner. The sermon message was titled “Love Never Fails”, and talked about negative attitudes vs. positive.
