Mother Nature continues to mix up the weather. Strong winds and snow early on Monday, the 25th, led to school bus cancellations locally, for the eighth time since January 1st, 2019. But, spring is just around the corner, and minor softball registration forms, for the 2019 season, are now at the Greenbank store for pick-up and return, so youth from ages 4 to 19 may sign up to play. Teams fill up quickly, and are made up on a first-come basis, so be sure to register as soon as possible. Contact persons are Kerri-Ann at (905) 985-9499, and Barb at (905) 985-3903.

At Sunday's service, the Christ Candle was lit by young Clayton Barton, assisted by Mom Meagan and little sister Blake. Special thanks go to Kara Phillips who ministered, with music, a song she sang and played. She wrote this song in memory of her 16 year old cousin who died a year ago from cancer.
Opal the Ostrich visited with Stephanie during the children's time, and wouldn't talk to Stephanie due to a misunderstanding en-route from Seagrave. The children were invited to help solve Opa's and Stehanie's problem with their ideas. This lead to foregiveness by Opal for Stephanie, and there were happy feelings all around. The sermon message, based on the scripture story of Joseph who was sold by his brothers into slavery in Egypt, spoke of the essentials of foregiveness ; “the one who won't forgive, is usually the most upset”, and “forgive and try to forget”. A thought for the week, Love conquers All.
