Blackstock & District Lions Club
President John Ashmore and Secretary Eleanor Colwell attended the District A-16 Lions Club Officer training/refresher session, this past Saturday in Sunderland. It was a valuable session as it reviewed procedures that had been previously presented and it allowed us to share ideas with other Club officers. Thank you to the presenters and to the Sunderland Lions for hosting and feeding us!
Our District Governor’s Lions Service Week is coming up quickly and we’ll be cooking up a storm at Cartwright Central Public School this Thursday, October 19th, from 5:00 p.m. onward. We’ll be set up at the back of the school and will be barbecuing for the students and their families, as they participate in the school’s Harvest Festival, hosted by the School Community Council.
