Wintery weather is on its way as I am writing this. On Saturday evening Elaine Bailey and I were storm-stayed in Orillia, at Esther and Fred Peeters home. On Sunday morning we enjoyed attending the children's pageant at church, in which Zoe and Addie took part.
On Sunday the White Gift Service was held. Next Sunday, the 17th, will be the choir’s presentation of the Cantata, followed by Souper Sunday, when the U.C.W. will serve homemade soup and buns or biscuits, and sweets for a donation. This indeed will be a musical treat. You are welcome to attend. It begins at 9:45 a.m.
People are busy attending the Christmas activities and shopping and baking in preparation for the holiday season.
