On Sunday Laurie Minshall of Caledonia along with Jan and Jim Byers spent some time visiting their mom, Shirley Turner, in the Villa at Port Perry. Shirley enjoys visits from friends and relatives.
Sarah Malcolm along with her sister from Toronto visited their grandparents in Ottawa over the weekend.
Jim and Jan Byers enjoyed a trip to Cuba with Jim’s friends from school, earlier in the winter.
Do you have your tickets for the 1st BBUl March Madness Dance, that is hosted by the Blackstock Lions Club and the Blackstock Curling Club. The Blackstock Choir beef dinner will be ‘A Royal Affair”, on Sunday April 15th, with settings at 4:45 and 7:00 p.m. Entertainment by Frances Grove-Hurst will take place between settings. Tickets are available from choir members now.
At the church service on Sunday morning Steve and Lorinda Bryans were received into membership by profession of faith. Joanna Malcolm and Delaine Dyer had been received by transfer earlier.

The winners at the Tuesday evening Euchre game were: First Barb Blue who also had the most lone hands, second Alma Manns, third Doreen Shehey, fourth Elmo Gibson, fifth Eileen Nelson, and Olive Smith. The winners of the specials were Shirley Oldfield, Elmo Gibson, Jenny Povey, and Eileen Nelson.
